About Us

Earthlines is a San Diego-based design studio by artist and photographer Safi Kheshgi.  

Born in Pakistan and raised in Athens, Georgia, Safi's passion for photography and film has shaped his artistic vision. Through aerial photography, he captures the intricate patterns of nature and transforms them into kaleidoscopic mandala designs, revealing the hidden geometry of our planet.  

Each Earthlines piece begins with a high-resolution aerial image—often taken by drone—of natural landscapes. Safi then meticulously mirrors, rotates, and layers the image, uncovering symmetrical patterns that evoke a sense of interconnectedness and harmony.  

Earthlines is more than an art practice; it’s a reflection of environmental stewardship and a call to appreciate nature’s resilience. Through his work, Safi invites viewers to see the world from a new perspective—one where art and nature converge in mesmerizing balance.
